The man who unfortunately bares a striking resemblance to Peruvian murder suspect and online poke player Joran van der Sloot, David “DocSands” Sands, has become the newest member of Team Doyle Brunson.

While Dan Kelly won the competition automatically to become a Team DoylesRoom.com player, Sands ultimately joins the online poker room as a wild card (or second place finisher).

Sands has won over $200,000 in live poker tournaments and cashed out at four of this year’s World Series of Poker events.  He has won a substantial amount playing online poker however.
