The New York Yankees are a top exposure for today against the Washington Nationals.  New York was coming in as the -116 favorite and seeing more than 90% of the money line action early Monday. The line movement was nominal overnight and into the AM hours.

Since 2015, Washington is 4-2 versus the Yankees in these interleague meetings. Washington is a few games above the .500 mark but one below at home as they have played much better on the road.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Yankees RH Sonny Gray (4-4, 4.98 ERA) vs. Nationals RH Erick Fedde (0-1, 5.91)

Gray has yet to record a decision while posting a 4.74 ERA in three career encounters versus Washington, including his four-run, seven-hit performance in five innings in last week's meeting.  The Yankees are 1-5 in Grays last 6 road starts vs. a team with a winning record.

Fedde will get his second straight look at the Yankees after surrendering two homers and four runs total over five innings on Wednesday. The 2014 first-round pick will make his sixth major-league start and third this season as he pitches in place of injured fireballer Stephen Strasburg.

The Nationals are 8-3 in their last 11 home games vs. a right-handed starter.
