The Cowboys vs. Giants spread in Week 10 was indicative of the disparity between these two teams now. With the turmoil in Dallas following head coach Wade Phillips firing, Dallas (1-7) was an unprecedented +13.5 underdog. Some books had even longer odds for the Cowboys.
