Florida Lieutenant Governor Resigns Amidst Internet Cafe Gambling Probe

(Reuters) - Florida Lieutenant Governor Jennifer Carroll abruptly resigned because an Internet cafe company she once consulted for has been linked to illegal gambling, state officials said on Wednesday.

Website Claims GTech, Lottomatica Group Caught ‘Rigging’ Online Casino Games

GTech, a subsidiary of Lottomatica Group, was reportedly caught rigging two online casino games, according to the website 4Flush.com.  GTech’s Lottomatica last week received a recommendation for approval for an online gambling license in the state of Nevada. 

The alleged rigged games were Real Deal and Hi/Lo Gambler, utilizing coding created by Realistic Games then recoded by GTech.

French MPs Caught Playing Online Poker During National Assembly

While France has been among the most draconian nations when it comes to allowing online poker sites to operate, don’t tell that to the MPs.

Recently a number of them were photographed playing online poker and reading adult cartoons during France’s National Assembly, according to Sky News.

Lewdness Claim at Vegas Bar Draws Ire of Nevada Gaming Control Board

LAS VEGAS (Associated Press) - Nevada gambling regulators are seeking discipline against a Las Vegas bar where state and local agents reported seeing customers performing sex acts in view of other customers.

The state Gaming Control Board on Thursday submitted to the Nevada Gaming Commission a nine-count complaint against Las Vegas Eagle owner Judy R. Nelson.

The commission could hold a hearing or both sides could negotiate a settlement.

A professional poker player, Vadim Trincher, is suing Trump Tower for a “rampant mold” problem in his 63rd-floor condo he claims ruined some custom-made furniture and made his wife sick. 

Trincher and his wife blame the damages on renovations carried out in the duplex above, which was once owned by Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, according to the Daily Mail

Disputed Phil Ivey Winnings at London Casino Referred to Gambling Commission
